Is DeFi another hype, similar to the ICO boom back in 2017?
Jared thinks it could be! Nothing is new in the concept of decentralised finance: it has been there ever since the inception of Bitcoin. It is interesting to see other projects focusing on it.
But remember: “If it’s not your private key, it’s not your crypto.”
The imperative for people is to do proper research and homework before investing in anything.
What is next for DigiByte?
Jared & the DGB team are busy working on the new core protocol updates to be rolled out soon. On security and digital identities, Antum ID is making significant progress with new partnerships.
And what about @Elon Musk’s ambitious project of @Neuralink brain implant?
It is a fascinating project, but a bit scary and security is a huge concern. Any applications will still be years away if not decades.
